Why We Do What We Do

Spin the Globe LLC was founded on a simple but powerful truth: every person deserves to be heard and understood—regardless of the language they speak. In a world that is more diverse, more global, and more interconnected than ever before, communication is no longer a luxury. It is a necessity. It is about access. Human dignity and security.

Interpretation is not just about converting words from one language to another. It is about giving people a voice in the spaces where decisions are made. It is about ensuring that a parent can understand their child’s education, that a patient can fully grasp their medical care, that a worker can advocate for their rights, that a traveler can navigate transportation safely, and that a community member can participate in civic life without fear, confusion, or exclusion.

Every day, across government agencies, hospitals, schools, courts, transportation systems, and public meetings, people are making life-changing decisions. When language becomes a barrier in these moments, the consequences can be serious—missed opportunities, compromised safety, unequal access to services, and the erosion of trust in public institutions. Interpretation is the bridge that protects against those outcomes.

Spin the Globe LLC exists to be that bridge.

Founded by a former United States Diplomat, the company is built on a foundation of precision, accountability, discretion, and public service. During her diplomatic career, Ms. Smith worked in environments where communication was mission-critical, where accuracy mattered, and where misunderstandings could have global consequences. That same standard now guides every interpretation assignment handled by Spin the Globe LLC.

We believe that language access is not optional—it is essential infrastructure for any organization that serves the public. In today’s society, communities are multilingual by nature. Immigration, globalization, international business, humanitarian migration, and cross-cultural exchange have reshaped who we serve every day. Government agencies, healthcare providers, educators, legal professionals, transportation authorities, and employers now interact with individuals who speak dozens of languages. Without interpretation, these systems cannot truly function equitably.

Interpretation gives people access to justice, access to healthcare, access to education, access to employment, and access to emergency services. It empowers individuals to make informed decisions instead of guessing. It replaces fear with clarity.

It transforms confusion, anxiety, and frustration  into confidence. It allows people to participate fully in the systems that shape their lives.

At Spin the Globe LLC, we approach interpretation not as a transaction, but as a responsibility. We understand that our interpreters often stand in moments of vulnerability—medical diagnoses, legal proceedings, public safety briefings, immigration processes, school meetings, emergency responses, and critical public hearings.

In those moments, clarity is not just professional—it is human.

Our interpreters are trained, vetted, and more importantly mothers, brothers, fathers, sisters and friends living in multicultural communities.  They understand that they are not just conveying words—they are carrying meaning, intent, emotion, and consequence.

We operate with strict confidentiality, ethical standards, and quality control because trust is the currency of interpretation.

Spin the Globe LLC is also deeply committed to the public mission of interpretation. We recognize that language access is a civil right protected under federal and state law. Agencies that properly invest in interpretation are not only meeting compliance requirements—they are strengthening public trust, widening participation, improving safety outcomes, and building stronger relationships with the communities they serve.

In moments of crisis, interpretation becomes even more critical. During emergencies, natural disasters, public health outbreaks, infrastructure disruptions, or security incidents, people must understand what is happening and what to do next. Language access in emergencies saves lives. Spin the Globe LLC is structured to provide rapid-response interpretation for exactly those moments when time, clarity, and accuracy matter most.

Beyond emergency response, interpretation also drives long-term outcomes. It improves workforce training, reduces liability, supports compliance, improves customer satisfaction, enhances community engagement, and ensures that diversity is acknowledged.

At its core, Spin the Globe LLC stands for one belief above all:
No one should ever be excluded from opportunity, safety, or public service because of a language barrier.

That is why Spin the Globe LLC exists.

And that is the standard we bring to every assignment.
